Hazardous Fuels Removal
Funded by Bureau of Indian Affairs, the department has developed a program to remove flammable material - mostly dry grasses - around the buildings and roads of the reservation during the fire season. Before the program was implemented, the reservation had two close calls where grass fires nearly reached the community.

Elder's Ceremony
The Elders Ceremony was held July 24th, 2010 at the Table Bluff Community Center. There was lunch, gift giving to the Elders, language presentation and Brush Dance demonstration by Wiyot youth.
